If you have gophers in your yard, you may have noticed that they burrow and consume a considerable amount of vegetation. Their burrows will have a large number of tunnels, many of which may span 200 to 2,000 square feet. Furthermore, they also consume about 60% of their body weight on a daily basis. In addition to loving to eat roots, they also consume herbaceous plants, trees, shrubs, grasses, and flowering plants.
